Aroma lamps or fragrance lamps are used to gently evaporate essential oils. For this purpose the bowl of the aroma lamp is filled with water and a few drops of essential oil or of an aroma composition are added. Then the tea candle is lit. The scent and the candle light together result in a comfortable ambience.
